Minor/Scout Privacy Clause
In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA, 16 CFR Part 312), by marking or submitting any information on this website for persons who are under the age of 13, you agree that you are the parent/guardian of said person, and you consent that your child's data may be processed online by Scouts BSA Troop 259. However, data containing information about youth will not be published online in a public form by Scouts BSA Troop 259. While Scouts BSA Troop 259 does not release member data outside of the organization, it cannot be held responsible for the re-uploading of confidential information, i.e. the sharing of passwords or the unauthorized distribution of confidential information by a member or user.
