Give us a visit in-person

We happily welcome visitors to almost all meetings. All we ask is that prospective members inquire ahead of time before attending a meeting. Drop us a line at info@bsa259.com. More contact info as well as social media links can be found on our contact page.

What Scouting Has to Offer

Scouting guides youth in becoming "Prepared for Life" — both physically and mentally. Our troop teaches youth important communication and leadership skills, outdoor skills, and will guide its members through the ranks of Scouting.

With over 130 Merit Badges to chose from, Scouting helps youth learn by doing. We enable Scouts to follow their own paths in Scouting— May it be attending every campout every month, advancing a little each month, or fast-tracking their way to Scouting's highest rank: Eagle.

Scouting for All

Troop 259 recognizes that some youth and adults may fear or face discrimination and inequity in their everyday lives. Troop 259 does not discriminate and will not tolerate discrimination of any form. This includes, but is not limited to: gender identity, marital status, age, disability, financial status, religion, ethnic background, or sexual orientation.

Troop 259 celebrates diversity in all communities: Honoring the inherit uniqueness of all individuals, and embracing diverse backgrounds to build a stronger, more inclusive Scouting community.

If you have experienced any of the aforementioned behaviors, immediately contact a leader or call the Scouting America Scouts First helpline at (844)-SCOUTS1.
